Dr. Regan is a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist.
He is currently working on becoming a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapy.
Shawn earned his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Massachusetts in 2009. He was Clinic Director and Physical Therapist at Synergy Manual Physical Therapy in Colorado Springs, CO for over five years, and had an amazing experience there. He now works for an incredible company here in Colorado Springs and loves his position as Senior Physical Therapist.
Shawn has always been involved in sports, including soccer and basketball. His Dad, Mike, had weights and boxing equipment in the garage so Shawn has always been around the weights and considers exercise as a normal part of life. He has been certified as a personal trainer and strength coach for nearly twenty-five years.
Shawn was involved in powerlifting and strongman training. He has had injuries and surgeries along the way, learning valuable lessons as a result.
Some of the courses related to movement he has taken include: Functional Movement Systems/SFMA, Postural Restoration Institute (PRI), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) as well as voracious reading from a multitude of authors. There is too much to list.
Shawn is now training with the McKenzie Institute. The McKenzie method is a world renowned, evidence-based assessment and treatment methodology. He has completed the Lumbar spine course and will proceed onward to additional courses.
He has helped thousands of people overcome injuries and pain. His physical therapy career has reinforced his conviction that intelligent strength training and a well-rounded exercise program is often the missing link in helping people improve their health and lives, both physically and mentally.
Dr. Regan is owner of Resilient Performance and Wellness PLLC where he provides private pay, concierge physical therapy to his active clients.
He holds many certifications including:

After years of working various desk jobs, Julie’s love for fitness finally came to fruition in 2011 when she took the plunge and began training full time, teaching spin classes and bootcamps in Boston.
Some of Julie’s highlights over the years include doing a fitness competition, running the Boston Marathon, completing numerous sprint and Olympic distant triathlons and a few long distance cycling events including Best Buddies.
Julie holds a Master's degrees in Public Policy and International Relations, a degree she chose due to her passion for traveling around various parts of the world. She is a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM), Julie has obtained certificates in pre and post natal, kettlebells, TRX, Level 1 and 2 for the Functional Movement Systems, Level 1 Performance Coach for USA Weightlifting and become a Nutrition Specialist through NASM. As a busy mom of two young girls, Julie’s time is spent training people one on one (or small groups), writing programs for her clients, and following through on her own lifting goals.
Julie believes that when it comes to investing in your health, no one else is going to do the work for you, she wants to help you figure out how to get it done. She wants to help you build up your confidence, strength, endurance and longevity.
She is currently preparing to sit for the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) examination. She continues to grow her knowledge base to provide her clients with elite level service.
